Margaux’s Star

The Great Bear sleeps upside down in Africa.
So, Margaux’s star, named after one I loved long ago, is no longer seen
in the plough-share’s misty shadow.
“Time to move on”, it whispers,
“to find another, more deserving. And, together, name it after her”.
Such is the nature of eternity.
